 Well, I never thought I'd say this... but my friends have finally succeeded. After years of ignorance I have been converted to the Whovian cause. Granted, starting at the 9th Doctor makes me a bit of a n00b series-wise; but I have unlimited Netflix, A tuna sandwich, Sour-cream and onion chips, onion dip, Earl-Grey tea with milk and a freshly-purchased TARDIS mug at my disposal... along with a free weekend.  Here we go...

Hey guys! I'd have to say that there's recently been a few interesting developments worth mentioning, since it'll probably be enough to fill up a decent amount of space here.
It all started when I was up on the second floor of my house doing whatever it was I was doing, when all of a sudden I hear a really faint meow from somewhere outside. At first I thought I was hearing things, but of course me, being my usual insane-self, decided to meow back anyway. (I tend to mimic animal noises when I'm around them, don't ask me why, cuz I don't know ) the freaky thing was that I got another legit meow in response. So I booked it as fast as I could downstairs (I totally almost fell on my face too ) and swung the door open. And just sitting there, pawing at the deck, was a little brown-ish black calico cat with big golden eyes. After that it ran away and I followed it out to a big old shop I have somewhere out near my place. So I went inside and once I knew it was still there, went and got a couple of people to help me grab a can of chicken and an old box with some towels in it. Once I got the cat to come out and eat I saw just how rough a shape she was in. She was pretty thin and looked like she hadn't eaten properly in forever, and the tip of one of her ears was missing while the other was completely gone (it's the middle of winter right now, and it was insanely cold that day. So it's no doubt she'd gotten frost-bite) it turns out that a couple of people that lived in my area had seen her roaming around since this summer. So she had probably been living in the shop for about 6 months if my math is right. Since I couldn't bring her in the house, I went out for the next two days to bring her food and water, and after awhile I just ended up sitting in the dirt for a half-an-hour while she huddled in my jacket to keep warm. That night the animal shelter called us back and said that there was one cage left (the shelter is always full) so we eventually succeeded in getting her into the car and brought her down there (I did get a couple of scratches from where she dug her claws into my chest and wrists when I picked her up, but other than that she was fine, probably because I brought her a whole can of salmon ) so Lola (short for "little one" since thats what we kept calling her) now has a safe, warm bed at the SPCA with a bunch of new friends. I don't doubt she'll be adopted soon, since she's surprisingly friendly for an alley-cat, doesn't shed very much, and is absolutely adorable despite the missing ear. I'm going to go and visit her again soon, and will continue to do so until she finds a good home. I used to volunteer at the shelter, but since I moved away and got really busy with all my stuff I haven't been able to come back. But I definitely think I will resume my regular visits after this, those animals need love.

Well, I'd say this concludes my personal human-interest story for the day I hope if any of you guys have pets that you'll give them a big hug after reading this.

In my opinion, 2013 kinda sucked for me and a lot of people I know, and in some really weird ways . So here's hoping that 2014 will be at least slightly less crap-tastic for EVERYONE!. I suppose one of the reasons I don't feel completely doomed (which is odd...) is because I'm starting off the year feeling a bit more motivated. Not better per-say, just ambitious. The main game changer is: ...During one of my many journeys surfing the web, I came across a interesting article from Cracked.com. I clicked it because it's generally a pretty fun site, as it contains a plethora of useful information regarding the zombie apocalypse. www.cracked.com/article_18683_… I am infinitely more relaxed now .  But what I really think got me was this article: "6 Harsh truths that will make you a better person". Like any bored human sitting at a desk with nothing better to do, I clicked it. If anything, it gave me a little insight as to WHY the world is such a messed up place to live in, at least socially, and kinda helped me realize that it isn't THAT hard to understand in the end, or that hard to work with. Granted, this place is still insane beyond all recognition. This is a fact that will never change, which makes me glad I can match the madness ten-fold with the sole contents of my own brain.

It's been too long since I've opened GIMP or picked up my pencil and drawn something I love or want to improve upon, so I'm going to try and start new-years off that way. I'll probably try and sketch out some of the new characters I've found a love for recently (Probably Loki, Alice, or maybe even Pitch Black ) I love fanart and I need more of it! It may take awhile to get posted, but I need to start drawing again. I've missed it

Hey guys! (I'm using an iPhone to write this, so if there's typos, failed icons, or any of that kind of thing, please try to ignore it my autocorrect is mentally unstable)
Sadly, as of late my computer is officially being declared broken. I try to open it and it takes forever to start up, pop-ups like crazy, glitchy sound, flash-player issues...all of it so it's not even worth turning on for dA updates (which is sad, I know) I'm thinking I've got a whole bunch of viruses, or the old thing is just ready to bite the dust (maybe both). Part of me can only hope I've been whiny enough about it to warrant either a new one for Christmas, or to at least get it fixed but since that's in two weeks I'll just have to hope . So as a result of this, my updates, replies and all that are going to be even more spaced-out and poorly-typed than normal (blame the tiny screen!) so I apologize for the inconvenience. (on the bright side, I got a new book, a mug and a whole bunch of hot chocolate and candy from a gift-exchange. So I'm going to be on a sugar-high, probably for a time period no shorter than the rest of my life )
